Clinical kit for CPS 12.0 or EMR 9.8

Download the Clinical Kit:

Note:  This kit is for environments running CPS version 12.0 or EMR 9.8.  Newer versions of CPS/EMR should go here.
Click here to download the kit:

Note: Clicking the link above will result in a file named AMDKit_EMR_9_8_or_CPS_12_0.zip to be automatically downloaded to your browser’s download folder. When you extract the zip file, you will end up with a folder by the same name. Within that folder is a file named readme.txt, which includes instructions on the final steps required to install AngleSearch.

This clinical kit consists of several QuickText macros and an encounter form (described below).  If you are upgrading from Blackbird content, this kit will not replace any of your Blackbird macros or forms.  If you would like to easily convert all of your current Blackbird content to work with AngleMD, you can do so by following the steps described here.

QuickText macros included in the kit:

Macro: Effect of this macro:
.amd Launch AngleSearch with all clinical lists showing (i.e., problems, meds, allergies, directives, and orders)
.amdProb Launch AngleSearch with only the problem list showing
.amdMed Launch AngleSearch with only the medication list showing
.amdAll Launch AngleSearch with only the allergy list showing
.amdDir Launch AngleSearch with only the directives list showing
.amdAddProb Launch AngleSearch and automatically open the Find Problem dialog
.amdAsthma Launch the Find Problem dialog and automatically search for ‘asthma’
.amdSinusitis Launch the Find Problem dialog and automatically search for ‘sinusitis, acute’
Note: The “.amd” quickText macro can be a fast and efficient way for providers to launch AngleSearch from nearly anywhere in their workflow. The other quickText macros are provided as examples of MEL commands that may be useful as you integrate AngleSearch into other workflows.

Encounter Forms included in the kit:

This clinical kit includes a single encounter form which gets installed in the Enterprise/AMD folder. The form is named AngleMD Launch Form, and it is very simple (with only one button which opens the AngleSearch application when clicked). Note: This form can be included in Document Templates if you’d like to provide a more obvious way for providers to launch AngleSearch. The form can also be used as an example of how to launch AngleSearch from your own forms.
